To accelerate access to electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the Bay Area, the Air District has allocated $5 million to fund qualifying projects through a new incentive. The Charge! program offers grants for the installation of EV charging stations at transportation corridors, workplaces, multi-family dwelling units (MDUs) and trip destination locations.
Both public and private entities are eligible to apply.
The deadline to submit an application is 4 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2016.
