As a part of the Mathilda Avenue Improvement at SR237 and US101 Project, Moffett Park Drive between Mathilda Avenue and Bordeaux Drive will be closing permanently, during the evening of August 1, 2019, in preparation for the realigning of the Westbound SR 237 off-ramp onto Mathilda Avenue.

Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians will continue to be able to travel along Moffett Park Drive east of Bordeaux and west of Mathilda. As an alternative to using Moffett Park Drive, travelers can now use Innovation Way which has been signalized to better accommodate higher traffic volumes. Work on the Westbound 237 off-ramp onto Mathilda Avenue will commence with the closure of Moffett Park Drive.

The realignment of the off-ramp eliminates the short spacing of signals along Mathilda Avenue just north of SR 237 overcrossing and will help improve traffic flow by easing back-up and lessening delay.

Those traveling through the area can expect to see changes in the ramp as they unfold including, roadway excavation, paving, and new striping. Please continue to use extra caution in the construction zones and be aware of flagmen, signage, barricades, and cones.

Completion of the ramp realignment is expected in Fall 2019. Construction on the entire project is expected to be complete in Summer 2020.
